What follows is our very first thriller posted to the OHWP. Warning: some readers may be terrified! He follows, like a police car in hot pursuit of a criminal on the lamb.
“Cesar look out!” I say, ducking behind the door with the 2001 a Space Odyssey poster on it. He turns. “I think we lost him” he says. It was hot on our trail like a fire burning towards a city inhabited with only large oil soaked straw dolls, and we were those dolls. But we had to be like a poodle, intelligent and agile. We see it again, the large spartan mane glistening in a wave of red and white horrible images from another time flash through my head a dark room, but no! A lightning flash, hitting a body lying limp on a locker room bench, The human as a tree to a bolt of lightning. FLASH! CRACK! A whiplash echoes throughout the room, destroying the peace of a gym. A shadowed hulking face turns and looks directly at the camera, and behind it, as the flash goes off a colossal shadow comes bounding at us and we have no choice but to run, Cesar on my tail, the last thing we hear are hooves. I wake from my nightmare, and try to shake Cesar to consciousness as well. “Yeah, let's go,” he says and with a shiver and a backward glance, we continue to run. Eventually, we come to a crossroads four directions north, south, east, and west where do we go? So now we are animals with no watering holes, or a man without a country to pledge allegiance to, what shall we do? Go north? Or west, North by Northwest? No, that would not do at all, sadly. We are like animals on the prairie, constantly stalked by a predator never knowing when it will strike so aware at all times! Although, also like the animal without water, we hallucinate, but this time purely from boredom. Eyes of an unimaginable ebony are coming at us swiftly--and the shirt, oh that shirt masking the brutal incarnate of DNA with its own flag, but now it is chasing us. I open the door and wait for Cesar as an odd silver tree formation is falling in the middle of a gymnasium full of people. They scream as we scream, one solid voice rising in my throat then pop, snap, I am back curled in a ball with Cesar shaking me awake. He turns and screams, I, too, witness the sight. It was one of the falling trees from my vision! It turns and says “Do you need help” we get up. No response. Cesar breaks into a run, I to go into this escaping, liberating exercise, but fall as i watch his feet make the journey without me. And the last thing I witness before aforesaid darkness are hooves, shoes, and a Baseball bat! Special thanks to Nathaniel D.

Ze good work but sometimes you need to add punctuation to your dialog. It was really creepy. Keep up the great work!

I love the great imagery that you create with the sound effects. It is a amazing story that I would personally love to read. I agree that it is really scary but, it is just enough scary to make the story really interesting.
