Check out these two awesome poems submitted by 6th grader Cypress G! Journey
dreams are the things with lights, that shine on a star Full of things you can't replay Like a car's journey far This joy makes you want to have it stay But soon you will wake up And look at your clock Wonder how long you will be stuck Waiting like a hawk Just waiting till the sun sets And you're tucked in tight Off you go into the world that you just met In the world of dreams at night. Roller Coaster An up and down roller coaster Full of bumps and stops It goes and continues over and over And sometimes when you can't stop holding the feeling of the moment With shorter breaths you start to panic The feeling is too strong to hold it Then a sudden jerk in your chest Thumping bumping in your heart Your feeling is a big mess You feel a touch, with a start You feel much better and stop the panic.

I like the rythm of the first poem. The first poem had a lot of detail.

I thought your first poem was very poetic and nice. I think that it was also relatable. Nice job Cypress!
